The rise of the Maker movement represents a huge opportunity for Canada. Globally, new tools for democratised product development are boosting innovation and entrepreneurship in manufacturing in the same way that the Internet and cloud computing lowered the barriers for software – creating the foundation for new products and processes that can help revitalize Canadian manufacturing.

We aim to build a facility that will support this movement in Alberta. A facility that will provide access to state of the art equipment and resources. A facility that compliments the existing tech community in Calgary. Open to the public, community led, not-for-profit and financially sustainable. A community of successful Makers. Will you join us?
