  1. Kyle

Do you still have a Tuesday night meeting? If so at what time

    • Hi Kyle,

I was just looking in to see the status of Calgary maker space and saw your question. I suspect you may be thinking of Protospace’s Tuesday night open houses that have been going on for a number of years. Please feel free to visit protospace any Tuesday starting at 7pm.

      Please see http://www.protospace.com for details.

I believe the main difference between our two organizations is target audience, with protospace being more hobbiest or personal use and Calgary Maker space seeming to look more for more developed use such as artists all the way up to light corporate use, where a more traditionally business structured organization is beneficial. Protospace is 100% member owned and run, with no paid staff or any one person in charge. Hopefully someone corrects me if I’m wrong on any points.

I hope Calgary Maker space doesn’t mind this post on their site, as we currently support the development of new makerspaces fully.

      Cheers,
      Nick
      Protospace member
